The proposal for an English electrical engineering box

Dir Webdien management commettee,

I have a proposal for an English electrical engineering sub-forum (box). All discussions will be only in English.

Why do we need this box? The benefit will be:

1) It'll be very good for us to improve our English for electrical engineering.

2) If we can develop the box into an interesting box, many foreign students, engineers and experts will join with us. So, we'll have a big chance to catch the world's trend.

Do you think so?

Yep, it's just good suggestion. I'm learning to improve my writting skill but it seem so hard. I've heard that writting down some sentences a day about out emotions, thinkings or just to describe something is such a good way to increase our writting skill.
But there's a obstruction that is almost members here is just good at reading but writting-just like me, particularly electrical major English. It's very easy and fast to read an electrical document but it's extremely hard to write something about electrical area in your mind.

we've got a topic name kind of English diary, remmeber ^_^ if it's too long to wait a feedback from admins and smods, just pass by and write something you wanna discuss.
I think your idea is just fine but assume that we open an area in this forum that for mems discuss the electrical major in English, so who can manage this area and who that have good skill enough to join. It's not an easy decision when start but have no way to continue but end up.

Oh yeah, That's a good idea.
You see, most of technical written in English. The translated books normally incorrect and remain insufficient meaning. Many of Vietnamese expressions cannot be presented correctly in English and vice versa.
In the early years at University, it was so hard to me to solve a problem, just because of translated books. I gradually made myself familiar with English books that explain more detail and I easily understood what they demonstrated. However, the price I had to pay for learning English those days was so high. Because learning English takes me time so I nearly had no time for home works. That was why I almost failed in the examinations.
Now, my English is enough for surfing Web for technical problems.
That is my experience. I think every technician, especially electrical engineer, should have English skills to surf the Web for updated information of latest technology.
I hope later on, this website has a new thread for English discussion about technology that helps improving your knowledge by discussing technical problems here, both in English and Vietnamese.
